Mariner and painter Miguel Camarero Suanzes, began his apprenticeship at the Academy of Fine Arts and Crafts in La Coruña at the beginning of the sixties; his first professor being the renowned maestro of watercolours, Mariano García Patiño. His seafaring career took him from the rank of ordinary seaman to that of Captain. He also fished off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland, Greenland, and around the Cape of Good Hope in South African waters. More info
